LUMBERTON — Donald Wayne “Donnie” Johnson, 65, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019, at his home.
Donnie was born Nov. 23, 1953, in Wilmington. He was a graduate of New Hanover High School.
He is survived by his mother, Eunice Johnson; brother, Jeff Johnson, and his wife, Cris; sisters, Elaine Cobb, and her husband, Chester, Debbie McDonald, and her husband, David, and Sharon Griffin, and her husband, Matthew; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Bartow “B.J.” Jefferson Johnson Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel officiated by the Rev. Matthew Griffin. Burial will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Family visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
