LELAND — Esther Cameron Rosier, 74, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 13, 1945, in Wilmington, the daughter of Luther James Cameron and Addie Virginia Powers Cameron.
She is survived by four sisters, Claudia Allen, Carrie Lewis, Myrtle Pierce and Kitty Guerrero; two children, Michelle R. Crocker and Laura Rose; and four grandchildren, Chelsea Crocker, Ashley Coletti, Brittany Wormuth and Morgan Coletti.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, eight sisters, several brothers and sisters-in-law; and husband, James Thaddeus Rosier Jr.
Esther was a member of the Church of God in Leland, where she spent many a mornings cheerful and high spirited, praising the Lord with her friends and family, as she had the morning of her passing. She was warm hearted and loving and touched the lives of so many people and influenced all those she encountered throughout her life. Esther will be greatly missed by all.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m., Thursday, July 18, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
