WILMINGTON — Gilda Aldworth, 91, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018.
She was born in France on Christmas Eve 1926 to the late David Leonelli and Argia Mourzzi.
Gilda worked as a night auditor and attended a number of Catholic churches; most recently, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Burgaw.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Aldworth; and son, David Aschultz.
Left to remember her are her daughters, Ruth Lee and Myriam Henderson; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 3, at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
