KURE BEACH — Helen Virginia Wilson, 71, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018.
She was born July 29, 1947, in Logan, West Virginia, to the late Virginia Manuel Wilson of Kure Beach and William Granville Wilson of Richmond.
Helen enjoyed her time with reading, word searches, daily Bible reading, Pleasure Island-Island of Lights and was a member of Carolina Beach Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sister, Sharon Ketcham; brother, Mark A. Wilson; nieces, Cheryl Balser Jarman, Christina Seekford Williams and Jesslyn Virginia Wilson; nephew, Austin Ryan Wilson; great-nieces, Layla Jarman, Makayla Seekford, Peri Jarman and Sunny Williams and Nathan Williams; aunt, Helen Bowen; and cousin, Debbie Bowen Wilson.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 21, at Carolina Beach Baptist Church, 409 N. Lake Park Blvd., Carolina Beach.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
