LELAND — James T. “Tony” Williams III, 42, passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018. Tony was born April 19, 1976, in Wilmington.
Tony was a talented painting contractor and owned and operated Tony’s Touch Custom Painting. He was a devoted dirt track racer and was excited for every opportunity to be there at the track.
Tony is survived by his father, James Tony Williams Jr., and his wife, Barbara; mother, Virginia Williams; son, Kevin; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Starlings.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 11, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Eddie Watts and the Rev. Jonathan Rochelle will officiate the service.
