LELAND — Eula Jones Ivey, 91, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Ivey was born May 4, 1927, in Brunswick County to Alex Hamilton Jones and Gracie Robbins Jones. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas E. Williams Sr. and Tilman Ivey Sr.
She is survived by her children, Juanita Madden, Erma Gidley, Phyllis Howlett, Thomas Williams, Timothy Ivey and Tilman Ivey Jr.; brothers, Tom “T.J.” Jones and John E. Jones; sisters, Pauline Jarrett and Gracie Blanton; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family will see friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 27, at Goshen Baptist Church, 4124 Mt. Misery Road NE, Leland. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
