WILMINGTON — Paul Goodrich ‘Turk’ Squires Jr., 63, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCare Center.
Paul was born March 3, 1955, in Wilmington, son of the late Paul Goodrich Squires Sr. and Inez Carroll Squires. Turk was an avid golfer and a strong supporter of Riegelwood Country Club. He loved the outdoors and loved to work in his yard. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Squires; daughter, Lauren Squires; two brothers, Kevin Squires (Jan) and Ricky Squires; and many other extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 4, at Andrews Market Street Chapel. The family will greet friends at the funeral home following the service.
