CALABASH — Janice J. Prigge, 82, died Saturday, June 23, 2018. She was born May 23, 1936, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to Anthony Piechocinski and Genevieve Godlewski Piechocinski. She was strong-willed, soft-hearted, and she had a way of making every child feel loved. Each grandchild felt like her favorite.
Surviving are her son, Stephen Prigge (Jackie) of Calabash; and daughters, Christine Hine (Richard) and Jennifer Poignonnec of Wilmington.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 28, at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church.
