WILMINGTON — William Charles “Bill” Smith died Thursday, June 21, 2018.
He was born Jan. 26, 1935, in Queens, New York. Mr. Smith was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. He was a sign painter in Long Island, New York, for 35 years and a caricaturist in Wilmington for the last 10 years. He enjoyed surfing the web.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Joette H. Smith.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 24, at First Baptist Chapel, 5th and Market streets, Wilmington.
