This amazing woman loved life and everything in it. Sister, best friend and partner, Vickey Darlene Williams, took her first breath in heaven at 5:19 a.m., June 18, 2018.
We are so heartbroken for those who loved her and the void she leaves in our hearts. We are so thankful for His grace that set her free from the chains of unfair disease and for His promise of eternity. Now the angels are watching over her.
Vickey leaves behind many special people in her life, people who loved and cherished her, and whose lives will never be the same without her. Her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Jim Ludes; her beloved nephew, Brad Ludes; the love of her life, Tim Doyle, and his children, Jessica, Kamry, Jarhett and Avery; a beloved and cherished friend, Wanda Edens (Sissy); and her many friends and customers at Ross Department Store.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 22, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, 4108 South College Road, Wilmington, with the Rev. Allison Lairmore officiating. The family will receive friends at the mortuary on Friday from noon until the service hour. Interment will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington.
