RIEGELWOOD — Cynthia Jacobs Tholen, 64, went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 10, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born Aug. 6, 1953, in Wilmington to her parents, Ira and Camilla-Jean Wells Jacobs.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Robert Tholen; brother, Gregory Keith Jacobs, and uncle, Stacy Allen Wells Jr., both of Wilmington; sister, Patsy Jane Toney of Leland; son, Ashley Keith Everett (Donna Hobbs-Everett) of Riegelwood; daughters, Theresa Lane Toney (Roger Lee Toney) of Riegelwood and Sarah Elizabeth James (Robert James) of Bolton; nine grandchildren, Julia, Hope, Brett, Jesse, Lane, Justin, Cheyenne, Kaitlyn and Gracie; along with three great-grandchildren, Maddox, Addison and Madelyn.
A celebration of life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Monday, May 14, at Bridge of Life Community Church, 2220 Mercantile Drive N.E., Leland.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Duke Cancer Center.
