WILMINGTON — Edith Drevyn Kelly, 74, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington.

She was born June 14, 1943, in Wilmington, daughter of the late Jacobus Drevyn Jr. and Bessie Bizelle Drevyn.

Edith was a loving mother, faithful Christian and fun-loving friend to so many. She enjoyed classic movies, reading and traveling with family. Her overwhelming love and devotion to her church and family is what made her exceptional. Those who knew her will love her always.

She is survived by her son, Scott A. Farrar, and his wife, Cindy J. Farrar, of Wilmington; sisters, Carol D. Williams of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, and Mary D. Coates of Rocky Point, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, at Andrews Mortuary, 1617 Market St., Wilmington. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 9, at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington.
