WILMINGTON — Margaret King Eason, 87, died Saturday, May 5, 2018. She was born June 8, 1930, to Edward King and Maddie Huffman King.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Emma Byrd and Cora Pater; her brothers, William King and James King.
Mrs. Eason is survived by her husband, Eugene Eason; daughters, Deborah King, and her husband, Edgar, of Ogden, Barbara Eason of Wilmington and Rebecca Benson, and her husband, Dale, of Wilmington; sisters, Lena Paulter of Castle Hayne and Loretta Rowell of Hampstead; grandchildren, Sonny King, and his wife, Katie, and Eden King; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 7, at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral and Cremation Service. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, in Greenlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Andy Ottaway and Pastor Joe Butner officiating.
