HAMPSTEAD — Cecilia Ann Dittmer, 66, peacefully left our arms Friday, April 20, 2018, at home surrounded by friends and family.
She was born June 7, 1951, in Wilmington, daughter of the late Gerald and Sylvia Dittmer.
Cecilia was an avid beach goer who spent many enjoyable days with her loving husband, Ted, family and friends on her pontoon boat near Rich’s Inlet. She also spent much time nurturing her flowers and rose bushes.
Cecilia left behind her devoted husband of 33 years, Ted Floyd; son, Eric Tomosunas, and his wife, Audrey; daughters, Jamie Tomosunas and Whitney Pearsall; five grandchildren, Emil, Zach and Rio Tomosunas, as well as Ella and Ryder Pearsall; sister, Linda D. Marett (Ray); and brothers, Jerry (Sherry) and Joseph Dittmer (Angie).
The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to friend and nurse Judy Coady, as well as all caregivers from the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and the many family friends who participated in her care.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 25, at Andrews Hampstead Chapel, with funeral services following at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens.
