
BURGAW — Martha Ann Savage Horne, 62, died Saturday, March 24, 2018, in Develan, N.Y. She was born Feb. 7, 1956, Rocky Mount in Nash County, N.C.
A professional wife and grandma, she enjoyed spending time with her family, crafts, cooking and baking. A member of Rocky Point Baptist Church for many years, she had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone. She loved her family and was always there for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Horne; daughters, Amy Savage Coombs and Debra Lynn Guertin, and her husband, Christopher; stepsons, Daniel Horne, and his wife, Selina, and Steven Horne, and his wife, Betty; siblings, Dan Gralak, Mary Garner, Elizabeth Chase and Mary Lee Blunt; grandchildren, biological and adopted, Christopher, and his wife, Alexis, Sean, and his wife, Cona, Matthew, Kimberly, Nicole, and her husband, Arthur, Kaytie, Taylor, Austin, Bradley, Cameron, Bryce, Hunter, Gabriel, Alexis, Jenna, Addy, Caiden, Lilly, Damon and Kayla; and great-grandkids, Alton, Alexzander, Adaline, Annalisa, Annabelle, Anika, unborn Baby Brown (Austin), unborn Baby Brown (Nicole). Also left behind is her dog, Bella.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Oliver Savage; and father, Roy Lee Savage.
A service will be held at 5 p.m., Friday, March 30, at Friendly Community Baptist Church, 1730 US Hwy 117, Burgaw.
