
WILMINGTON — Kimberly Bardill, 37, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center.
She was born in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, the daughter of Harold W. Bardill Jr. and the late Carolyn H. Bardill.
In addition to her father, Kimberly is also survived by her brother, Matthew Scott Bardill, and his wife, Jacqui, and their two daughters, Kate and Beth Bardill; paternal grandmother, Audrey J. Bardill of Jacksonville, N.C.; and maternal grandmother, ShirleyAnne Hunike of Durham, N.C. She is also survived by her significant other, Bryan Shaver, in whom she had found her soulmate.
A time of celebration and remembrance for family and friends will begin at 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 25, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road, Wilmington, with a memorial service following at 5 p.m.
Kimberly had a lifelong love of nature as well as a passion for art. Her talent led to her career as an art director and graphic designer at Morvil Design. Additionally, she loved to share her love of art with others, especially her nieces Kate and Beth. Kimberly genuinely cared for other people and will be remembered for the many lives she touched.
