SOUTHPORT — David James Ford, 57, passed away Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, at Silver Stream Health Care Center, Wilmington.
He was born Dec. 10, 1960, the son of Jim Ford and Twylla Ford of Southport, N.C., and was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Ford.
Mr. Ford was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister, Deborah Weeks, and her husband, Matthew, of Mountainside, N.J.; and a nephew, Christopher Weeks of Mountainside, N.J.
A celebration of his life was held Saturday, Feb. 10, at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Southport. Inurnment followed in the church columbarium.
