CAROLINA SHORES — Patricia Ann Pragel, 87, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2018.
Born Jan. 20, 1931, in Perkinsville, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Frank Mark and Bertha Hemmer Mark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Pragel.
She was an active parishioner at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church and the Sea Trail Property Owner’s Association. She retired from Monroe Community College as a switchboard operator.
Surviving are her son, Thomas M. Pragel of Elgin, S.C.; sister, Alice Reynolds, Rochester, N.Y.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 7, at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
