SHALLOTTE — Maggie C. Underwood, 91, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017. Born July 4, 1926, in Durham County, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Pate Clements and Vivian Sorrell Clements.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas H. Underwood Jr.; son, Thomas H. Underwood III (Carol) of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and brother, Ed Clements of Efland, N.C.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 27, at Calvary Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Joe Needham. Burial will be held in Brunswick Memorial Gardens, Shallotte. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
