HAMPSTEAD — Patricia Ann Brady, 76, passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice after a 4½-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was a breast cancer survivor.
She was born Dec. 15, 1940, to Alfred and Dorothy Casey. She moved to Astoria, N.Y., in 1943; Freeport, N.Y., in 1950; and Farmingdale, N.Y., in 1965. She graduated high school in 1958.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Brady; daughter, Leah Sunde (James) of York, Pa.; grandchildren, Elizabeth Sunde, James Sunde (Marisa) and Katherine Sunde; and sister, Ruth Zoebelein (Thomas) of Long Island, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Patrick Brady; and sister, Edith Crooks.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Andrews Hampstead Chapel. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 27, at All Saints Catholic Church, Hampstead, officiated by the Rev. John Durbin.
