Mrs. Wells was a dedicated member of Poston Baptist Church and truly loved her church family.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Eddie Philip Wells of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Travis Wells, Amiee Wells, Tiffany Harper, Miranda Wells, Amber Wells, Scarlet Wells and Rhyanne Wells; great-grandchildren, Marcus Allen Harper, Savannah Harper, Dallas Tomlinson, Ava Walker, Tara Kelly, Riley Wynn, Alex Defulvio, Hailey Defulvio,Cameron Tomlinson, Alaina Cox, Olivia Cox, Madison Lawson, Pierce Lawson, Morgan Lawson, Maddox Mills, Jacob Wells, Aubrey Colbert and Hunter Colbert; sisters, Sally Alphin and Virginia Davis, both of Kinston; special friend, Wanda Atkinson of Wallace; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who loved her dearly.

Estelle was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who loved her family with all her heart. When her health permitted, she was a diligent homemaker and great cook, especially known for her delicious homemade pound cakes. With a joyful spirit, Estelle filled her home with love, and she welcomed all who entered.

She enjoyed collecting angels and over the years had acquired many different shapes and sizes. She loved them all. When her health permitted, she enjoyed going to the beach and fishing with her husband. Most of all, Estelle loved her Lord and her life was a true example of that love. Estelle will surely be missed, but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 28, at Poston Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Jarman officiating. Interment will follow the service in Riverview Memorial Park, Watha. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be sent to Poston Baptist Church, 4121 S. NC Hwy 11, Wallace, NC 28466.
