WILMINGTON — Linda “Suzanne” Hayes, 49, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017, after a long struggle with cardiovascular and pulmonary disease. She was born Nov. 16, 1967, in Marion, S.C. Suzanne was loved by many for her warm, caring heart and fun-loving spirit.
She was preceded in death by her father, John David Hayes (Johnny).
Surviving family members include her mother, Linda Hayes Bracey, and stepfather, William “Bill” Bracey of Riegelwood, N.C.; sisters, Daphne Hayes (Cynthia Dangerfield) of Jacksonville, Fla., and Norma Hayes Briggs of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; and nephew, Hayes Briggs of Surfside Beach, S.C. She is also survived by multiple extended and blended family members.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 28, at the Spring Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery in the Temperance Hill Community of Marion, S.C.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any animal shelter of your choice or the Humane Society.
