WILMINGTON — Lynn Hall, 53, died Thursday, June 15, 2017. She was born March 25, 1964, in New Britain, Conn., the daughter of Thomas and Helen Berube and grew up in Waterford, Conn.
Lynn earned a bachelor of science and physician assistant degree from Baylor College of Medicine. She earned an appointment of physician assistant resident in surgery and practiced medicine as a gifted surgical physician assistant from 1990 until 2002 when she was forced to retire as a result of a back injury.
Lynn was an active member and volunteer of Lifepoint Church. She took great joy in volunteering and in particular for Vigilant Hope at Lords Church, where she was known as the “Fancy Dessert Lady.”
Lynn was also very involved with the Wilmington Newcomers Club, most recently serving as the club’s historian. She loved traveling with her husband with some of her favorite places being the Caribbean Islands, Hawaii, Mexico, Paris and Germany . She loved the Wilmington area and spending time with family and friends on the water and on the beaches.
Some of her other passions included cooking and entertaining for family and friends at her home, gardening and working in her yard, her dogs, Beau and Raven, and other animals such as turtles, otters and hippos to name a few. Lynn was a talented artist creating wonderful stain glass works for family and friends.
She was an incredible loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. As much as she loved, she was so loved by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Lance Hall; two sons, Brendon and Ryan Hall; one brother, Kirk Berube; and sister-in-law, Mia Berube.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, at Lifepoint Church, 3534 South College Road, Suite A, Wilmington. Visitation for family and close friends will be from 6 p.m. until the time of the service.
