BOILING SPRING LAKES — Orville “Bow” Bowman, 73, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017, at his home.
Bow was born December 3, 1943, in Kansas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy who served in Vietnam. Bow will be remembered for his love of fishing, hunting, and his Harley Davidson motorcycle; but, more importantly, for his warm smile and love of life, friends and family.
Bow was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Knight.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Bowman; son, Todd Bowman; daughter, Nadine Allen; sister, Julia Campbell; niece, Angie Rice; and beloved dog, Buddy.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
In remembrance of Mr. Bowman, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
