SUPPLY — Joseph Robert Zegan, 84, passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2017.
He was born in Middlesex, N.J., on April 8, 1932, a son of the late Joseph Zegan and Julia Kovack Zegan. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served in the Korean War. He was also one of the founding members of St. Brendon‘s Catholic Church and served the parish in many capacities.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Jordan Zegan; daughter, Theresa Reiter (Steven) of Supply, N.C.; sister, Elaine Lowell (Bobby) of Seattle, Wash.; and grandson, Kevin Reiter.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Shallotte with a visitation at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
