CASTLE HAYNE — Don M. Wilson, age 58, of Castle Hayne, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at his residence. He was born on Nov. 7, 1957, in Akron, Ohio, the son of Don and Carol Wilson.
Don worked for many years as a Bail Bondsman and security guard. He enjoyed working out and while he loved all sports, he especially enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.
Don is survived by his son, Jacob Wilson; mother, Carol Wilson; and sisters, Lena Grubbs, Carolyn Wilson, and Barb Wilson Fragiskatos. He is also survived by his former spouse and mother of his children, Rae Jean Wilson and special friends, Kim Smith and Chris and Heather D’Augusta.
Together with his father, Don Wilson, he was predeceased by his son, Michael S. Wilson.
A service to celebrate Dons’ life will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at Northside Baptist Church, 2501 N. College Road, Wilmington, NC 28405.
