June A. Longenecker, 90, of Wilmington and formerly of Palmyra, Pa., died on Monday, June 27, 2016, at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter. Born on June 24, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Chester Warren and Lucy (Dunmoyer) Longenecker.
June was a homemaker and enjoyed all types of crafts, especially crocheting.
She is survived by her husband, George E. Longenecker of Wilmington; one son, Edward W. Longenecker, and his wife, Ellen, of Wilmington; and two grandchildren, Matthew Longenecker and Amber Longenecker, both of Wilmington.
A graveside service will be private.
