Betty Ellen Norman, 73, of Ocean Isle Beach, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was born in Charleston, W.Va., on July 30, 1942, the daughter of the late Robert Wolfes and Dorothy Cunningham.
Betty loved life to the fullest! She and her husband loved antiques and going to consignment stores. She loved white water rafting and going to casinos. She never met a stranger. She loved working with Dr. Young and Dr. Lapore and their staff. She loved her pets and her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry McKnight.
Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Thomas L. Norman of the home; daughter, Becki Young, and her husband, Dr. Greg Young of Chardon, Ohio; five grandchildren; loving pets; and host of many friends.
No local services are planned at this time.
