Michael Francis McLean, 74, of Sunset Beach, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at the Hospice House of Brunswick, Bolivia.
Born on May 2, 1941 in Baltimore, Md., a son of the late Charles and Rose Rusin McLean. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and later retired as a computer analyst with the Department of Defense. He was a member of the NARFE and the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Rita Mansfield McLean; three sons, Sean Michael McLean of Wendell, Brian Roy McLean, of Finksburg, Md., and Ryan Charles “Chuck” McLean (Angie) of Catonsville, Md.; daughter, Kathleen Marie McLean of Pittsburgh, Pa.; brother, Charles McLean (Susan) of Ocean City, Md.; and two beloved granddaughters, Gabriella & Madelin McLean.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23, at St. Brendans Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to the Hospice House of Brunswick, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
