Billy Talmadge Barfield, 71, of Shallotte, passed away on Monday, Jan. 18, 2016, at Shallotte Villas, where he had many wonderful friends.
He was born in Cumberland County on July 31, 1944, the son of the late Billy Barfield and Patti Johnson Barfield, and was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and two sisters.
Billy was a member of the Shallotte Senior Center. He enjoyed attending Harvest Fellowship Church and Bible Baptist Church. He loved watching his grandson, Matthew, playing sports. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving are two daughters, Billie Fulford and Ann Morrozoff; four sons, Jeffrey Barfield, Jeffery Barfield, Dwayne Porter and Mickey Porter; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Billy’s life will be held at a late date at the Harvest Fellowship Church.
