Edgar Lennon Gray, of Shallotte, died Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, at his home. He was 64.
Mr. Gray was born in Brunswick County on Nov. 29, 1950, and was the son of the late Edgar “Laury” Gray and Mortie Blanton Gray. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Shallotte and a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from General Electric in Wilmington.
He is survived by his wife, Penny A. Gray; daughters, Rhonda Gray, of the home and Sondra Gray White and husband James, of Ash; and granddaughter, Lori Grace White.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte and other times at the residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Shallotte, with Pastor Robert Weathers officiating.
