Mabel Hefner Brown, of Shallotte, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at home. She was 73.
The viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at the chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte, followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Jennies Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, 5256 Beach Drive SW, Shallotte.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughter, Barbara Gale Hefner, of Biscoe; son, Robert E. Bowden, of Morganton; four granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives.
