Pamela Joyce Davis, 52, beautiful yard showcased her green thumb

Pamela Joyce Davis, of Burgaw, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. She was 52.

She was born Aug. 7, 1963, in Richmond, Virginia, daughter of the late Claudie Poole Jackson.

Pam is survived by her husband of 13 years, Richard “Rick” Davis; mother, Mary Jackson Pridgen and her husband, Marvin Pridgen; sons, Bryan Isaacks and Adam Isaacks; sister, Debbie Morgan (Scott); brothers, Claudie Jackson Jr. and Keith Jackson; and many extended family and friends.

Pam was a member of Long Creek Baptist Church. She loved her family and was especially devoted to her husband, Rick. Loving all of God’s nature and creations, Pam’s green thumb was evident by her beautiful yard that she faithfully tended, even during illness. She loved animals, but high on her list were her cats. Her beautiful smile, zest for life and engaging personality will be cherished and greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home, Burgaw Chapel with the Rev. Steve Dupree and the Rev. Wayne Bateman officiating. Burial will follow at Malpass Memorial Cemetery at Long Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. At other times, the family will be at the home of Mary and Marvin Pridgen.
