Wendell Scott Davis, of Supply, died Monday, July 28, 2014, at the age of 43.
Mr. Davis was born in New Hanover County on Sept. 23, 1970, and was the son of Wendell and Diane Varnam Davis. He was preceded in death by his father, Wendell Davis and brother, Ryan Davis.
He is survived by his mother, Diane V. Davis; two daughters, Allison Blair Davis and Alexis Diane Davis, of Supply; maternal grandparents, the Rev. Weston and Mary Varnam, of Supply; and fiance, Wendy Gray, of Charlotte.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday Aug. 1, 2014, at Gospel Center Baptist Church with the Rev. Foyd Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Gospel Center Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
