Jeffrey Ward Kelly, of Wilmington, died Monday, April 14, 2014, at the age of 48.
Mr. Kelly was an industrial electrician having been employed with Graham Electric and Holiday Electric Company. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed beach activities including swimming, body surfing, boating and fishing. He especially loved spending time with his dogs and was a member of Lake Forest Baptist Church.
He was born in Wilmington on Dec. 31, 1965, son of Madeline Coleman Kelly, of Wilmington and James Henry Kelly and was preceded in death by his father who passed away in 1985.
Surviving in addition to his mother are siblings, David M. Kelly and wife, Jane, James H. Kelly, Jr., Patricia Baxley and husband, Don and Richard C. Kelly and wife, Pam. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road, Wilmington, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. with Burt W. Vezina officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Lake Forest Baptist Church, 1626 Lake Branch Drive, Wilmington, NC, 28401.
