WILMINGTON — The Arts Council of Wilmington and New Hanover County will host the 2026 Candidates Forum on the Arts on Sept. 29.
The forum is a nonpartisan conversation with candidates for the state senate, the North Carolina House of Representatives and the New Hanover County Board of Commissioners. The candidates will discuss the role of the arts and creative economy in strengthening New Hanover County’s economy, education, quality of life and future growth.
The event will take place at the Cameron Art Museum at 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
