PENDER COUNTY — Construction of a new school in Pender County will cause intermittent lane closures on N.C. Highway 210 over the next several months.
Starting July 20, contract crews will widen a section of N.C. 210 near U.S. 17 in Hampstead and add new turn lanes as part of the construction of a Pender County K–8 school. Crews will also install a new drainage pipe system across N.C. 210.
Lane closures will be in place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday. This work is expected to be complete by early November, weather permitting.
