WILMINGTON — LEGO lovers of all ages are invited to the first ever LEGO convention making its way to the City of Wilmington in 2026.

The Wilmington Brick Convention will be held at the Convention Center from September 12 to 13. Proceeds will go to Creations for Charity, a nonprofit that provides new LEGO sets for underprivileged children around the world during the holiday season.

Events for the convention include meet-and-greets with professional LEGO artists from around the United States, and other LEGO celebrities. Other events and attractions include a “Construction Zone,” with thousands of bricks for participants to use, live builds and life-sized LEGO galleries.

Participants have the opportunity to explore the following: a Star Wars zone with LEGO creations from the universe, a castle build zone for medieval creations, brick pits for people to build with, and a fan zone dedicated to local creators. There will also be LEGO merchandise, ranging from retired LEGO sets, rare ones, and new sets. Different vendors will also be present selling goods.

Tickets are $14.99 and are available for either Saturday, September 12 or Sunday, September 13.
