WILMINGTON — The City of Wilmington has announced the grand opening of the new City Hall at Skyline Center.

The public is invited to join the City of Wilmington on Sept. 8 to celebrate the grand opening, which will kick-off at 8:30 a.m. with an unveiling of the city seal in the modernized council chambers. Following that is the city council agenda briefing, the first meeting in the renovated space.

After the meeting, there will be remarks from Mayor Bill Saffo, City Manager Becky Hawke, Bob Pressley with LS3P, and Drew Rintelmann with Monteith Construction, followed by an official ribbon cutting. Guests will then enjoy a reception, as well as the opportunity to tour the space, including the conference rooms available to the public for rent and the new customer service area for planning and development, and billing and collections.
