Bomb threat reported at Michael’s Seafood in Carolina Beach

CAROLINA BEACH — On Tuesday, June 24th, Carolina Beach Police responded to a bomb threat at Michael’s Seafood, located at 1206 North Lake Park Boulevard.

ALSO: Brunswick County elected official arrested for threatening state senator

Upon arrival, officers evacuated Michael’s Seafood and one adjacent business as a precautionary measure. The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office provided canine units to assist with a comprehensive search of the premises.

No suspicious or dangerous items were found during the search. The Carolina Beach Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
