$1.8M lottery ticket yet to be claimed

The Carolina Cash 5 lottery has a winner from its Thanksgiving Day drawing.

According to the N.C. Education Lottery, one winning $1 Carolina Cash 5 ticket was purchased in Raleigh through the lottery’s website or mobile app. The winner will take home $1.8 million.

The ticket matched all five numbers, against the 962,598 odds. The winner has 180 days from the Nov. 25 drawing to claim the prize.

It’s the third largest pot in the history of Cash 5; the largest was drawn April 19, 2021. Two Charlotte women split its $2.1 million jackpot.
