WILMINGTON — As filming makes headway in the city on the feature “The Supremes At Earl’s All You Can Eat,” a section of Market Street near downtown will be closed next week.

On Monday, Oct. 10, areas between North 7th and 8th streets will close from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Film crews and traffic control will be setting up the shoot to film that day and breaking it down by the end of call time.

Filming is weather dependent with possible backup dates scheduled for Oct. 11, 12, 21 or 24.

The N.C. Department of Transportation suggests motorists proceed with caution through the area and avoid the set location if possible. Traffic will be detoured to North 16th or 17th streets.
