Lowes Foods on the hunt for regional vendors

The Carolinas-based grocery chain, Lowes Foods, is looking for vendors and products to add to its offerings in more than 80 stores across North and South Carolina. Part of the grocery’s mission is to support local farmers and vendors.

The company will host a virtual vendor summit on Sept. 28 to give entrepreneurs a chance to meet with decision makers who purchase the products sold in the stores.

It is accepting pitches on baby, beauty/personal care/hygiene, beverages, food, health, cleaning and household essentials, housewares, and pet needs. Products must be made in North or South Carolina, and the company must be headquartered and have insurance registered to one of the states as well.

More info can be found here; submissions accepted until Aug. 15.
