One traffic stop, two arrests, multiple charges

WILMINGTON — During a traffic stop on Sunday, around 5:30 p.m., officers from the Wilmington Police Department arrested two people on multiple charges.

The traffic stop was conducted in the 1200 block of Greenfield Street. Upon a vehicle search, officers found crack/cocaine and drug paraphernalia, and arrested 33-year-old Markee George of Wilmington and 30-year-old Erin Lacewell.

George is charged with:

  • Possession of schedule II
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Probation violation
  • Parole violation
  • Driving while license revoked

Lacewell was charged with:

  • Possession with intent to sell/distribute schedule II
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

George was given a $55,000 secured bond for the drug and probation violation charges, and received no bond for the parole violation. Lacewell received a $100,000 secured bond.

Both are being held at the NHCSO Detention Center.
