The suspects allegedly stole this GMC Sierra.

WILMINGTON — Wilmington Police Department reported Tuesday night it found the truck stolen from an assault victim. The truck was unoccupied, and the owner’s alleged assailants are still wanted.

WPD is asking for the public’s help finding Kayla Floyd, 33, and Alvin Sabatell, 27. The two are wanted in connection to a kidnapping and assault case. Both were last seen leaving the Travel Inn on Market Street.

Floyd is described as a white female, 5-feet-4-inches tall and 150 pounds. Sabatell is a Black male, 6-feet-4-inches, and around 200 pounds.

The department explained in a release it responded to a call in reference to the kidnapping Monday evening, just before 6:30 p.m., in the 4400 block of Market Street. Officers located one male victim sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to the hospital and has since been released.

Two people were arrested shortly after officers arrived, near the scene: Richard Blanton, 33, and Kimberly Martinez, 22. The two were charged with first-degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and assault by strangulation. Blanton is under a $500,000 secured bond, while Martinez received a secured bond of $250,000.
