WILMINGTON — Wilmington Fire Department is responding to a fire near Texas Roadhouse as of noon Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the department confirmed a semi truck ran over a power transformer in the parking lot around 11:20 a.m.
Duke Energy secured a power line by approximately 12:20 p.m., and now crews are working to extinguish the flames. The spokesperson indicated it shouldn’t take long to end the fire.
The restaurant parking lot and a section of the Kohl’s parking lot are closed off. Other than that, there are no traffic disruptions.
