WILMINGTON — The Alliance for Cape Fear Trees had another tree giveaway last Saturday; however, it was shortened by inclement weather. With over 400 trees left, the alliance will be set up Friday from noon to 4 p.m.
The event takes place at Legion Stadium on Carolina Beach Road. 450 trees, in 3- and 5-gallon buckets, will be given away, with two per person allowed. Trees available include:
- Pin Oak
- Nuttall Oak
- White Oak
- Swamp White Oak
- American Elm
- Sycamore
- Sun Valley Maple
- Armstrong Maple
- October Glory
- Maple
- Brandywine Maple
- Trident Maple
