WILMINGTON — Highway Patrol is investigating a car accident at the intersection of McRae and Nixon Street as of Tuesday morning.
Wilmington police are asking drivers to take an alternate route. Parents of D.C. Virgo students are still able to pick up their children but are asked to come down Nixon Street from the North 3rd Street side, the department said.
According to WPD’s Facebook post, an officer was involved in the traffic collision, though only minor damage and injuries were reported.
