NEW HANOVER COUNTY — The Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee recognized Detective Sean Jones with the David MacAlpine Award at its 2022 SENC MLK Jr. Celebration.
Detective Jones has served the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office and the citizens of New Hanover County since July of 1992. Jones has worked for the NHSO Sex Offender Registration Unit for the past seven years and will retire next month.
“We are extremely proud of Detective Sean Jones for his commitment and dedication to the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office and the citizens of New Hanover County,” the sheriff’s office said in a release.
