Pedestrian dies at scene after being struck by vehicle

WILMINGTON — The police responded to a traffic incident where a pedestrian was struck at Military Cutoff Road and Drysdale Drive.

34-year-old William Lloyd Fabre, of Washington State, succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while Wilmington Police Department provided aid.

Fabre was struck by a vehicle as he was walking in the middle of the street. Police investigated the scene and determined the driver will not be charged in the crash.
